No catch. Freefroot is simply a fun way for you to discover, try out and experience different products, without any obligations.
Does everyone get the free giveaway?
Some products will be limited in their numbers and other giveaways will be larger in quantity. Most of the time we will try to post the quantities available, but Freefroot and our partnering companies do not guarantee supplies.
Hey, it's all free, so it's up to you to try and get there before they run out!
How long will the free giveaway last?
Typically up until the supplies run out, but it is always at the discretion of the company giving the products away.
Why do you have a countdown?
The countdown acts as a kind of crowd control, and it also keeps giveaways exclusive to the site.
What Time Zone does 'Everywhere' follow?
'Everywhere' follows Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
What Time Zone does 'Online' follow?
'Online' follows US Eastern Standard Time (EST).
I'm in London but the giveaway is in Los Angeles - which time zone do I follow?
If you are in London - or anywhere else in the world for that matter - and are following an event in Los Angeles, then the revealed time at the end of the countdown is Los Angeles time.
All revealed times are local to where the event is being hosted.
All Online events correspond to US Eastern Standard Time.
Why should I subscribe?
Subscribing allows you to receive email and/or mobile text alerts that notify you 30 minutes ahead of the live countdown. This means you'll get a head start on all non-subscribers.
You'll also be able to review products and be eligible for subscriber only giveaways.
If I subscribe will I receive spam and annoying junk mail?
A resounding NO! We hate spam too and would never abuse, offend or otherwise take advantage of your information like that.
I have a business and I want to host a giveaway, how do I get started?
Hosting a giveaway event is simple. Go to
Submit an Event and fill in the information on the Event Submission Form. Once the form is received by the Freefroot team, your giveaway event ad will be published live. The scope of your event is only limited by your imagination and the law!
It costs a minimum of USD $5, with a suggested fee of USD $25.
This fee is to verify you as a legitimate business, and 100% of this fee goes to
Kiva.org.
Freefroot plans to cover most metropolitan areas so we'd love to hear from you in order to make a compelling case for coverage of your area. In the meantime, if you have a website or blog you can hold an online event.
After I submit a giveaway event, how long until it is posted?
Once we receive your submission we will do our best to post your event within 12 hours.
I've got an old table I'm throwing out; can I post it as a giveaway?
Not unless you are an antiques or collectibles dealer. Freefroot only lists products and services from legitimate businesses.
Why does Freefroot exist?
The aim of Freefroot is to build awareness of ethical, eco-friendly and cool alternatives within the marketplace in an experience that is fun, engaging and mutually beneficial to the merchant and consumer.
